About Our Organization
Women Out of the Box is an organization that encourages relationships, support and networking among women. Our network promotes the exchange of business within the group. In our programs and meetings, we educate, facilitate, and support women's growth in all aspects of their lives.
As our group continues to evolve and grow, one of our objectives is to give back to the community. Our newest project is the Daisy Foundation. We are raising money to honor single mother's that have a desire to continue or return to college. The Foundation is named after one of our member's mother. In giving women an opportunity to gain a higher education and achieve their goals, we honor the lifetime acheivements of Ms. Daisy.
One way we are raising funds for the Foundation is through the sales of delicious cupcakes and cookies. Anneliese Dexter has graciously volunteered her time and ideas to baking these wonderful goodies. Click HERE to place your order now! Message from Shari Fordyce:
(06/18/2010) I have very good news, as I was offered the position in Ft. Lauderdale this morning just as expected. I am leaving tonight with my sister to find an apartment this weekend. Also I am working on trying to get moved down there ASAP & hopefully start my new job on July 1st.
I plan on having a get together with all of my friends before I leave for Ft. Lauderdale, so I will keep you posted on when that may happen, as I would love to hang out with all of you before I leave.
I want to let you know I am going to miss all of you, because you all are the most awesome women I have met. The meetup last night was very uplifting! I will definitely keep in touch & who knows, I may show up for a surprise visit in the very near future.
